Immediate Contact Options:
Please Note:
If insured are charged for the call, they can request reimbursement as part of the claim process. GuardMe's team is available to provide advice and can recommend the most appropriate hospital for the situation. Assistance is available in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Portuguese.
Emergency Hospital Visits:
If it’s a severe emergency and immediate contact isn't possible, the insured should go to the nearest hospital. In such critical situations, the hospital may directly bill the insurance company. For all other situations, payment will need to be made upfront, and reimbursement can be sought through the claims process afterward.
What to Do If an Emergency Prescription Is Needed:
The insured can initiate a video call with a doctor through the Digital Doctor service by calling the emergency line on +420 221 860 685. Prescriptions for unexpected medical issues can be issued during this consultation.
Handling Non-Emergency Medical Issues:
If the insured is unwell but does not require hospitalization, there is no need to use the emergency line. The insured should visit any clinic, pay upfront, and retain all receipts and documents for a subsequent reimbursement claim through our standard claims process.
Filing a Claim:
For details on how to file a claim, please refer to the claims process outlined in your insurance documentation or contact GuardMe's support team for guidance (mariaj@guard.me).
