OPSA was founded in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, by three individuals who had all studied abroad: Óscar Plaza (CEO), Diego Cervera (Visa Department), and Andrés Cárdenas (Marketing). Their mission was clear from the beginning: to create an agency that offered a more personalized, trustworthy, and student-focused service across Latin America.
“Everyone on the team has studied abroad. That makes a huge difference. We understand first-hand what it means to take this leap,” says Diana, who has been with the agency for two years.
In 2024, OPSA was also awarded the ST Star New Agency, and this year, they are nominated for ST Star Agency of the Americas, which recognizes the best agencies across the entire region.
With an office in Bogotá and active presence in Mexico, Peru, and Panama, OPSA supports students from across Latin America. Their services include language courses, undergraduate and graduate programs, summer camps, and more.
“Many students start with a language course and then extend their stay to pursue higher education. We support them every step of the way.”
